The name of my print was "diamonds", I carved the seven of diamonds onto the fiber glass. This project took me about a week to complete. I used a carving tool carve the design I chose into the fiber glass. I shaded by using the cross hatching technique and making cuts deep if they needed to be.

What was the medium/technique explored? Intaglio. What did I like least about the Intaglio technique? It was difficult to carve straight lines into the glass. What could I use this Intaglio technique be used for? It can be used for shading and outlining art work?

I enjoyed this project very much. It took some time but when the piece was completed it seemed to be worth the wait. I learned about the Intaglio technique and about printmaking. I hope we do another project like this before the school year ends.
